| The Board of Education generally holds
a business meeting each month,
normally scheduled during one Tuesday of each month in the Board
Room in the Administrative Wing of Levy-Lakeside Elementary School, except as
noted on the calendar. The public session begins at approximately at 7:00 pm.
Changes in the date, time, and/or location of Board meetings are available on
the Merrick School District website or by contacting the Superintendent’s
Office.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and
participate in all regular meetings of the Board of Education. Residents’ input
and questions will be addressed within reasonable time frames and procedures as
set by the Board of Education. This is where all policies and procedures that
affect our school and our children’s education are discussed and determined.
