Welcome Back Packet

Dear Parents:

Welcome to the 2010 -11 school year at the Norman J. Levy Lakeside School. We hope you and your family had an enjoyable summer and are ready to begin a successful academic year.

Important dates to save can be found on the home page of this website. Please keep checking the site because it is updated at least weekly.

During the first week of school, you received a letter in your child's backpack which instructed you to come to this website. Here are further instructions:

1. PTA membership envelope - Attached to the blue letter is an envelope for your PTA membership dues. Please return that envelope to one of your child's teacher.

2. Email Address: Please submit or update your email address online. If you are certain that you are receiving emails from webmaster@levylakesidepta.org, then you only have to update your child(ren)'s grades. If you haven't already done so, please watch for the next email from the PTA. On the very, very, bottom left, there is a link which will allow you to update your accoount.

If you are not getting emails, then please click on the "Home" pencil to the left, then fill out the email form on the right-hand side of the screen.

If you are not sure if you are getting emails, then it is very important that you write to webmaster@levylakesidepta.org and we will let you know if you are on the list. Just make sure to give us all the possible emails that you may have signed up under.

3. PTA Volunteer Request Form: This form lists all the PTA committees. Please print and fill out this form if you would like to volunteer to help the committee chairs in a particular committee. Return this form to your child's teacher by Tuesday, September 14, 2010.

4. Class Parent/Captain Form: You need to fill out this form if you want to be a Class Parent or Class Captain. Please print, fill out this form and return it to your child's teacher by September 14, 2010.

5. School T-Shirt Request Form: The children wear their t-shirts on field trips and on Peace and Friendship Day. Please print, fill out this form to order t-shirts and return it to your child's teacher by September 18, 2010.

6. Class List Authorization: We need this form in order to release the class lists to the parents. Please print, fill out this form and return it with your child's teacher by September 14, 2010.
